This program includes approximately $450 million in construction value spanning close to 20 projects that will upgrade and replace aging infrastructure at the Empire State Plaza over the next seven years.

Project Description:

Construction Manager for extensive infrastructure upgrades. Major projects included in the portfolio include:

• Cultural Education Center, MER1 Upgrades Project 
• Reconstruction of Plaza Waterproofing Systems 
• Reconstruction of Eastern Approach to State Capital Project 
• Egg Theater Renovation Project 
• Replacement of JOB/LOB Building Fire Alarm System 
• Upgrades to Swan Street Fire Alarm System 
• Modernization of CEC Elevators and Escalators 
• Arterial Expansion Joint Replacement Project 
• Swan Street Reconstruction 
• Empire State Plaza Sprinkler Testing and Modifications 

Guth DeConzo Construction Management was also responsible for the development, negotiation and is signatory to a Project Labor Agreement with the Albany Building Trades for a number of projects within the portfolio.
