Stuart Culver, Director, Construction Management: Mr. Culver has over thirty five years of experience, many in positions of senior management in both Construction Management and General Construction. Mr. Culver’s experience includes numerous complicated projects of values over $100 million across a broad spectrum of areas, including health care, education, institutional, heavy/highway and airport projects.
Mr. Culver is responsible for directing the Construction Management group activities; from the full spectrum of procurement, contract administration, field work inspections through commissioning and project closeout. He is intimately involved in Guth’s NYC Health + Hospitals Project Portfolio, specifically the Elmhurst Hospital ED Expansion, Neuro ICU and Ambulatory Surgery Center Project ($140M), Bellevue Hospital Combined Heat and Power Project ($35M), Lincoln Hospital Fuel Tank and Energy Upgrades Project (aggregate $45M) and Metropolitan Hospital Chiller Replacement Project ($12M). He is also heavily involved in Guth’s Electrification Portfolio, including the NYCT Bus Charging Phase 1 Project ($28M), NYCT Bus Charging Phase 2 Project ($317M), numerous JPMC Fuel Cell Projects (aggregate ($14M) as well as Guth’s Design-Build contract to construct a 1.5 MW CHP plant within the iconic Waldorf Astoria Hotel ($16M).
Previous to joining Guth DeConzo, Mr. Culver served as Project Executive for Hunt Construction Group’s Los Angeles County/University of Southern California (LAC+USC) $650M hospital expansion project and Senior Project Manager for Bovis Lend Lease’s $240M Wake Forest Baptist Hospital Cancer Center and Outpatient Services Project.

Craig Johansen
Craig Johansen, Assistant Director, Construction Management: Mr. Johansen has over twenty-five years of engineering and construction management experience with a focus on developing technically-complex projects for both private and public-sector clients. With a focus on power reliability and critical-infrastructure projects, managing construction projects while simultaneously maintaining client’s daily operations has been an essential requirement throughout Mr. Johansen’s career. During his career, Mr. Johansen served as the Project Management Leader for the $190M US General Services Administration’s Central Utility Plant at the US FDA campus in White Oak, MD.
In addition to his direct project development and construction experience, Mr. Johansen has held multiple corporate executive roles. These roles include President of a Construction Management and Design/Build subsidiary of a national engineering company and Vice President of Operations for a union mechanical contractor. Both roles included full P&L responsibility, business strategy development and personnel leadership.
As Assistant Director of the CM Group, Mr. Johansen is responsible for all operational aspects of Guth’s CM portfolio, working closely with our Team of CM professionals to make sure all projects are delivered safely, on time and on budget.

Robert Wyllie, General Superintendent: Mr. Wyllie has over twenty-five years of construction field level experience, and currently serves as Guth DeConzo’s General Superintendent overseeing our Team of Construction Superintendents and all ongoing field construction operations. Throughout his career, Mr. Wyllie has been involved in a number of logistically challenging projects including the ongoing Lincoln Hospital Fuel Tank Replacement project, the Waldorf Astoria CHP project, and an extensive portfolio of projects at Stony Brook University. All MWBE Partner Field Personnel will report directly to Mr. Wyllie.
