CORE BELIEFS
Guth DeConzo has an extensive record of accomplishment of successfully providing Construction Management (CM) services for technically complex and logistically challenging projects in a wide variety of project settings – safely, on time and on budget.
From our array of experience, we have developed a simple, yet comprehensive, road map to success that consists of the following:
Safety
We believe the safety of our construction workers, facility personnel, and visitors must always be at the forefront of everything we do. We have a responsibility to everyone impacted by our projects to always conduct operations in a safe manner.
Budgets/Estimates
We believe budgets and cost estimates are the foundation upon which any project must be built, which is why we place such an emphasis on their accuracy and viability in a current market setting.
Creativity in Bid Packaging
We believe we have a responsibility to our clients to maximize their use of funds through being creative when developing bid packaging strategies. The monies available on a project are always finite and we are the stewards of those monies.
Proper Planning Prior to and During Construction
We believe projects fail because of poor planning, on a macro and micro level. Aside from being stewards of the budget, the planning of our work in existing facilities is at the center of everything we do. We have a constant need to study the work taking place today, tomorrow, next week, next month and six months to make sure all labor, materials and equipment are in place to execute the work.
Over Communicate
We believe communication within our Project Team is at the forefront of everything we do. As the majority of our work takes place in existing facilities, we have a responsibility to make sure our work plans, and the impacts thereof, are communicated in a proper and timely manner.
Deadlines Matter
This adage best represents who Guth DeConzo is. If we say we are going to do something, we do it. Every one of our employees, subconsultants, subcontractors and suppliers know this and are required to buy in to the Deadlines Matter philosophy.
