New York City Transit eBus Charging Infrastructure Project – Phase 2
Project Description:
Design Build Manager for the installation of 230 overhead pantograph bus charging systems at six NYCT bus depot locations throughout the Metro NYC area. Project is being implemented in a fast track format utilizing multiple Design-Build Teams, ABB and Heliox charging equipment technology and INIT Charge Management Software. Work is to taking place within the following existing bus depots with strict logistical restrictions:
- Gun Hill Bus Depot – 60 pantographs
- Mother Clara Hale Bus Depot – 34 pantographs
- Grand Avenue Bus Depot – 44 pantographs
- Queens Village Bus Depots – 60 pantographs
- Herkimer/East New York Bus Depot – 22 pantographs
- M.J. Quill Bus Depot – 16 cable reel chargers
