NYC HHC Lincoln Hospital Phase 1B Capital Improvement and Infrastructure Upgrades Project
Construction Management services overseeing the implementation of a capital improvement and infrastructure upgrades program throughout the facility. Project is being completed in ten bid packages and includes the following projects:
- Replacement of hospital wide heating loop piping system as well as replacement of approx. 500 patient room induction units
- Modernization of Elevator Cars 1 – 6 including Code Pink technology
- Replacement of all interior and exterior facility lighting systems, including patient room lighting systems, with LED lighting and controls
- Replacement of select Air Handling Units
- Facility wide BMS Upgrades
- Upgrades to existing chiller system and compressed air system
- Replacement of De Aerator Tank
Majority of work required until this project was required to be completed second shift and weekends over the course of three years. All work within patient rooms required extensive coordination with facility personnel to accommodate closures. Given the extensive coordination efforts, work within the patient rooms was completed in a single 24 hour shutdown.
